With everything here dormant now, resting while the winter cold takes over, I am amazed at what we all accomplished last year.
As a Year in Recap, we accomplished the following on our farm in 2023:
- Dug in 800 + wooden posts
- Weeded, mowed, grazed and hayed our new 30 acres of pasture to manage weeds and support new growth
- Installed 20,700 ft of woven wire and high tensile fence, completing 4 long rotational grazing lanes for our cattle and sheep to enjoy for years to come
- Installed a winter watering facility, complete with concrete pad and Cobalt Waterer (uses the grounds heat to keep water from freezing over)
