I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’ve just joined me recently (welcome, we have so many fantastic new faces!) or you’ve been with us from the start—this week is a big one on the farm. It’s time to officially wrap up our 2025 Bulk Grass-Fed Beef Shares for the season, and I want to make sure you don’t miss your spot.
I am closing ordering this Friday, May 2nd, and after gaining more feedback from everyone I’ve got two ways to serve you—depending on how involved you want to be in your butchering decisions.
Option 1: Schmidt’s Meat Market – Custom Butchered
Perfect if you want to choose your own cuts and use every part of the animal—think bones, organs, tallow, the works. These are your classic nose-to-tail shares. These are ONLY available for half or whole cow orders.
– Available: 1 half share in August, plus 2 newly secured slots in October 2025.
– Price: $6.97/lb hanging weight + processing (average hanging weight is 300 lb per half)
You’ll work directly with the butcher – I’ll help guide you through it if you’re new—it’s not scary, I promise!
Option 2: Prairie Meats – Pre-Bundled
Don’t want to think about cut sheets and butcher forms? Let me handle that part for you.
– Available: a few 1/4 or 1/2 shares still open. These are USDA-inspected cuts.
– Price: $1045 per quarter or $2070 per half — flat rate
Each quarter guarantees at least 100 lbs of 100% grass-fed beef, and we pay the processing/pick up & local delivery.
These bundles are great if you want:
- Predictable cuts and guaranteed pounds of meat
- Clear pricing with bundled savings (I pay the butcher fees)
- A smooth, simple process
No matter which option you choose, here’s what you can count on:
